Counselling is a safe, non-judgemental space where you can speak freely. We work together collaboratively, you decide what you want to work on, and the depth that we will explore, and we use an approach that resonates with you.

Through Counselling, you gain insight into issues that may be impacting various areas of your life, develop strategies, and learn tools to overcome these issues. Sometimes the work can be emotional and we will work within your comfort level and use tools to manage your emotions so that you don't feel overwhelmed.

Counselling allows you to lighten burdens and fears that may be weighing you down, improve relationships and communication, understand yourself and others better, and learn to set healthy boundaries where needed. Counselling can address things that happened to us in childhood and provide healing for those experiences.

Collaborative Divorce Coaching

Divorce can be an emotional, and challenging transition for everyone involved, and having a divorce coach can ease that transition by supporting your voice and wishes in the process while providing emotional support and validation for your feelings.

Hi, I’m Sharon,

You’ll find in me an empathetic, intuitive, and compassionate counsellor who offers confidential support for navigating life’s challenges. I believe in working collaboratively with you, addressing your concerns at the depth you desire.

With extensive experience supporting individuals overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, grief, or struggling with self-identity, relationships, or life transitions, I bring expertise as a Professional Counsellor and Certified Life Coach from Rhodes Wellness College.

Beyond my formal training and over 1000 hours of counselling and coaching, I’ve deepened my understanding and insight into domestic violence and coercive control through my volunteer work with the Sagesse Domestic Violence Prevention Society.

My commitment to cultural competence includes an Intercultural Competencies for Leaders Certificate and active participation in diverse cultural workshops and celebrations. From volunteering in Nepal to working with diverse populations at Bow Valley College and my current role at a local community resource center, I embrace individuals of all cultures, sexual orientations, and backgrounds.

I draw from mindfulness, self-regulation techniques, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Somatics, and Brief Solution-Focused Therapy, tailoring my approach to what resonates best with you.

Having navigated personal challenges like depression, heartbreak, and grief, I understand firsthand the complexities of these experiences. My aim is to provide a supportive space where we can explore and address your needs together.

I invite you to book a free Discovery Call to discuss how we can work together effectively.
